  1. SWBDateSelect Control
  2. ------------------------

  4. This control is built using the Microsoft Calendar control
  5. on the VB5 CD-ROM.  It simply wraps that control with an
  6. edit box and a button to create a date-input control that
  7. allows the user to select a date using the pop-up calendar.
  8.  
  9. Features include:
  10.  
  11. - Control automatically formats dates to the selected format
  12.   upon field exit and pull-back from calendar.
  13.  
  14. - Calendar defaults to the selected date, or current date
  15.   if no date (or an invalid date) is entered.
  16.  
  17. - A 'DateValue' property that allows you retrieve the date
  18.   currently in the control as a Date data type.
  19.  
  20. - Control has a 'MaxLength' property similar to a standard
  21.   edit box.
  22.  
  23. - Control can be enabled or disabled.

  26. This control is offered as "freeware."
